MSI Wind U130 and U135
The MSI Wind U130 and U135 are the two newest netbooks just announced by MSI.
Both models of the Wind will contain Intel’s newest Atom Pine Trail Processors. All models of the new Pine Trail lineup include the N450, D410, and D510 CPU’s, and also the NM10 chipset. The new Wind models will only be using the N450 chip, running at 1.66GHz. The N450 is currently the smallest chip made by Intel. It consumes less power than the older Atom chips, making the battery life longer and creating less heat.
The only difference between these models is the hard drive and color selection. The Wind U130 comes with a 160GB Hard Drive and is offered in black and white. The more expensive Wind U135 comes with a 250GB Hard Drive and is offered in silver, black, red, and blue.
Both models have the standard 10″ LED display, Bluetooth, a 1.3 Megapixel webcam, 802.11n WiFi, WiMAX (internet via a high speed 4G cell tower), and stereo speakers. Also, they both ship with Windows 7 Starter Edition pre-loaded.
The new Wind Models will be shipping in January for $Unknown and $330 in the US . They will be selling in Europe for £229 and £279.
