WindPad 100 and 110 10-inch Tablets
During the Computex press conference on Monday, MSI showed off two new tablets: the WindPad 100 and the WindPad 110. Both tablets feature a 10-inch capacitive touchscreen and USB ports. The WindPad 100 runs on a 1.66GHz Intel Atom Z530 processor with 2GB of RAM. It comes with Windows 7 Home Premium pre-installed. An HDMI port is built in to give it the video-out capability. MSI has created a UI layer for Windows 7 called Wind Touch, for better usability of the touchscreen. The WindPad 110 runs on a NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, most likely with 512MB-1GB of RAM. NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 is based off a 1GHz dual-core ARM Cortex A9, which is identical to what is in Apple’s iPad. It will come with Google’s Android OS. The back cover of the 110 can be swapped out for a cover of your style.
Both tablets are said to be available by the end of 2010. The WindPad 100 will sell for $499 and the WindPad 110 will sell for $399.

My opinion of what this needs is… the WindPad 100 should run Windows Embedded Compact 7 instead of the Wind Touch UI, and someone should hack iPhone OS 4 to run on the Tegra 2 model

Nice~ If this thing run Mac OSx, this seems to be the perfect Ipad replacement.
